To have creative thinking and effectively doing the brainstorming process one must learn
and understand the origin of the creativity hence the brain. One needs to know how to communicate with the brain efficiently and to understand that Our brains have filters, which cause us to have different perspectives and that needed to be understood, accepted for the brainstorming process to work.
In addition, we also need to understand and be aware of internal negativities that we possess. We have the responsibility to eliminate those negativities on a regular basis otherwise it could become a form of mind traps and could create conflict when brainstorming with the teams.
Furthermore, one must be able to be aware of the human patterns of blaming and being judgmental of other people’ ideas. And to be able to get out of those patterns and flip it over into being more accepting and understanding which in turn would encourage creativity and teamwork.
Each individual will also need to recognize the fixed mindset that could be holding him/her back When contributing to the team ideas and to change it into a growth mindset.
